YULE PARADE THURSDAY IN DUBLIN

The annual Christmas Parade will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. The theme will be "Country Christmas," and more than 20 units have signed up to march, including the Pulaski County High School Marching Cougars and the Dublin Middle School Pep Club.

The parade route starts at the garment factory on West Main Street, continues up Giles Avenue, across U.S. 11 and winds up at Dublin Middle School.

All attending are asked to bring nonperishable canned goods or toiletries to place in a special wagon at the end of the parade. These items will be distributed Dec. 22 to needy families in the Dublin area.

This year's Christmas parade is sponsored by the Town of Dublin and by Dublin-area churches, several of which plan to have floats in the parade. For more information, call Russ Gwaltney, 674-4731.
