EAGLES FLY OVER GRACE CHRISTIAN

Roanoke Valley Christian built a 34-point halftime lead and cruised to a 91-29 victory over Grace Christian Tuesday night in boys' basketball.

Richard Booth had 21 points and nine assists as the Eagles opened their season with a convincing victory. Bill Fluker scored 20 points and Josh MacDermod added 19 for the hosts.

Grace Christian is 0-1.
