OBIT JONES, ETHEL LEVINGSTON

JONES, Ethel Levingston, 89, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, November 29, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Jones Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Clara Blagmon, Yonkers, N.Y.; one son, James H. Jones Jr., Washington, D.C.; one sister, Connie Pettiford; one brother, Harrison Levingston, both of Monroe, N.C.; two devoted granddaughters, Mickey Collins, Williamsburg, Towanna Yizar, Yonkers, N.Y.; 13 other grandchildren; one nephew; two nieces; one aunt; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Thomas P. Odell will officiate with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
