OBIT KULP, ROBERT A.
KULP, Robert A., ("Bob"), 73, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 29, 1993,
at his home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served
as a deacon and elder. He was a retired executive with Burlington Industries
and served in the Army during World War II. He was a volunteer for Trust and
Literacy Volunteers of America. Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne Kulp,
Roanoke; 4 children, Mary Anne Spencer, Wisconsin, Susan Maveety, North
Carolina, Charles Andrew Kulp, Charlottesville, Margaret Louise Kulp, Roanoke;
4 grandchildren, Susan Spencer, Rebecca Spencer, James Maveety and Sarah
Maveety. A memorial service will be conducted at First Presbyterian Church, 2
p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Robert Smith. The family suggests memorials be made
to First Presbyterian Church, the Bradley Free Clinic, or a favorite charity.
