The celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. includes free admission to all the museums. The Roanoke Valley History Museum will offer workshops for children, music on the museum's player piano and tours of ``To the Rescue'' exhibit by volunteer rescue squad members.
The Science Museum of Western Virginia will show ``To Fly'' and a star show in Hopkins Planetarium and offer recycling workshops, demonstrations in the Touch Tank area and storytelling in the Tot n' Parent Learning Center.
The Art Museum of Western Virginia will host children's magician Mark Fuller and the New Fitness Exhibition Team.
In addition, Mill Mountain Theatre will perform - free - 20-minute excerpts from the holiday production, ``1940's Radio Hour.'' In Theatre B, Ruth Walton will tell stories and visitors can sing along with folk singer Curley Ennis.
More entertainment by Radar Rose, Frank Spencer and gospel singers will be in the atrium, as well as free food and drinks.
