AIDS-TAINTED BLOOD DIDN'T INFECT AMERICANS

No U.S. citizens received tainted blood from the company at the center of Germany's AIDS scandal, the U.S. military said Friday.

German officials, meanwhile, said tests of suspected blood haven't turned up any new contamination from HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
