OBIT JOHNSON, WILLIAM HENRY

JOHNSON, William Henry, 81, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, December 2, 1993. He was retired from Vinton Weaving Mill after 31 years of service. He is preceded in death by two children, Shirley Mae Ayers and Agnes Marie Morris. Surviving are his wife, Vocie Perdue Johnson; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Junior and Janet Johnson, Los Angeles, Calif., Eddie Lee and Sue Johnson, Orange Park, Fla.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy Elizabeth and Roy St.Clair, Goodview, Barbara Jean and Harold Hanabass, Roanoke, Mary Irene Barbour, San Dimas, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Margie Woods, Goodview, Mrs. Virginia Robertson, Roanoke, Mrs. Frances Ferguson, Moneta; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson. Funeral services will be held noon Monday, December 6, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Dr. J.E. Edwards will officiate. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton.
