OBIT DILLARD, MARGARET HOMEWOOD
DILLARD, Margaret Homewood, 92, of Burlington, N.C., formerly of Willard,
N.C., died Friday, December 3, 1993, at Alamance Memorial Hospital, Burlington
at 4:15 a.m. Mrs. Dillard was a retired school teacher and registered nurse.
She was a member of Pott's Memorial Presbyterian Church, Willard, N.C. and a
member of the Eastern Star. She was the wife of the late Clifton Randolph
Dillard. She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Eleanor Dillard Knott,
Roanoke, Mrs. Robert F. (Jo) Horne, Burlington, Mrs. Barbara Meschke,
Burlington; one son, George J. Dillard, Graham; ten grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Pott's Memorial
Presbyterian Church, Willard, N.C. at 1 p.m., Sunday, December 5. The burial
will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Burlington, on
Monday at 11 a.m. The body will remain at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in
Burlington until taken to the church service on Sunday. Memorials may be made
to a favorite charity.
