The bride was lovely in her aunt and mother's wedding gown of pure silk cream bombazine fashioned with an elongated bodice, a scoop neckline of shadow Chantilly lace, and a chapel length train. In gowns by Laura Ashley were MissCaroline Stewart, maid of honor; Mrs. Linda Scimeca, matron of honor; the misses Harriet Baker, Mary Cadden, Susan Chess, Renee DeGross, Nancy DeLuca, Sharon Casey, Carolyn Kissal, Christine Kouwenhoven, Tracy Rhyne, and Cathy Stewart. Christopher Peterson and Ryan Scimeca were ring bearers. Jon Peterson was best man, and the groomsmen were Robert Batal, Nelson Cole, Paul Darr, Craig Dyson, Steven Peterson, William Peterson, Craig Scimeca, Doug Stewart, and Tony Womack.
Mrs. Chess is the advertising manager for the American Occupational Therapy Association. Mr. Chess is in retail development and asset management with HP companies in Fairfax. He and his bride traveled to Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, and are now residing in McLean, Virginia.
