VMI DOMINATES INVITATIONAL

VMI was the leader in a 10-team field, winning four of the 13 individual events at Saturday's VMI Invitational Track and Field Meet.

The meet was not scored.

Fritz Lidgday won the 35-pound weight throw, Frank Boehling took first place in the shot put, Phil Hubbard won the triple jump and Adam Bolan was first in the 800 meters. The Keydets' distance-medley relay team of Chris Finnegan, Tom Wagner, Christian Den Brok and Bolan also won.
