WYTHEVILLE GETS WHITNEY'S TREE

Singer Whitney Houston decided she wanted another Christmas tree, so the town of Wytheville now has the one she originally chose.

The town bought the 25-foot tree which will become Wytheville' s first community tree to be set up in Withers Park.

A special tree-lighting ceremony was held Saturday, Dec. 4.
