SMITH, Shirley Elizabeth, 57, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, December 2, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Smith Sr., father, Forrest Smith Sr., and one brother, Charles Smith. Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, Richard and Theresa Smith Jr., John and Teresa Smith, Melvin Smith, Jeffrey and Joanna Smith, Wayne Smith; two daughters, Theresa Smith, Deborah Howard; a devoted ex-daughter-in-law, Chantae Smith; mother Ordelee Smith, all of Roanoke; seven brothers and six sisters-in-law, Forest and Zenobia Smith, Baltimore, Md., Lenwood and Adeline Smith, Washington, D.C., David and Joyce Smith, Fort Wasington, Clifford and Helen Smith, Ronald and Ruthie Smith, Douglas and Debra Smith, James Smith, all of Roanoke; six sisters and three brothers-in-law, Diane and James Simmons, Elliston, Aletha and Aaron Johnson, Germantown, Md., Dorothy Edmonds, Letitia Wiggins, Shelia and James Muse, Clotiel Smith Jones, all of Roanoke; twelve grandchildren; a devoted friend; a host of other relatives and friends.
