BEDFORD'S PARADE NO WASHOUT

Bedford's parade, which was also washed out by the rain, has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. (An incorrect time was reported in a story Sunday.)

But organizers said Monday they are unable to reschedule the Roanoke parade.

"Due to the heavy schedule of holiday events and the fact that some participants could not change their schedules, we are sorry to say we can't reschedule the parade," said Laban Johnson, special events coordinator for the city.
