BLANKENSHIP, George A., ("Bucky"), 57, of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 5, 1993, in a local hospital. Surviving are his wife, Frances Bobbitt Blankenship; son, George A. Blankenship II and wife, Marsha; daughter, Lisa Blankenship Wolfe and husband, Jim; four grandchildren, Brian Lee and Stacy Leigh Wolfe, Amber Nicole and Lauren Taylor Blankenship, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Dorothy Draper, Mary St.Clair, Martha Baker; eight brothers, Willie R. Jr., David E., James L., Ralph L., Aubrey R., Eugene, John R., Norman F. Blankenship, all of Roanoke; 22 nephews; 17 nieces. Funeral services will be at Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. George E. Stevenson officiating with interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
