OBIT-BROWN, LILLIAN VIRGINIA MAY
BROWN, Lillian Virginia May, 100, of Roanoke, died Monday, December 6,
1993. She was the widow of John Emmett Brown, and was a member of Troutville
Baptist Church. Surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, William and
Myrtle May, Vinton, James Holcomb and Gladys May, Maryland; two
sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mary G. May, Salem, Mrs. Lena May, Roanoke; a number of
nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Timber
Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Bedford County, with the Rev. W. Nolan Teague
officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel from 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday.
