OBIT-MEADOR, HERMAN WILSON

MEADOR, Herman Wilson, 81, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, December 5, 1993. He was a member of Corinthiam Masonic Lodge #266, Norfolk, and was a retired electrician. He was predeceased by one son, Phillip Meador. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Meador Cotton, Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Gregory and Melinda Cotton, Chesapeake; one brother-in-law, Arthur Smith, Roanoke; devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. McDowell. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 1993, with the Rev. Emory N. Tarpley Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park with Masonic Rites by Melrose Lodge #139 AF & AM. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
