4 VIRGINIA PLAYERS GARNER HONORS

Four Virginia soccer players, including Hermann Trophy finalist Claudio Reyna, have been named to the All-South Atlantic Region team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Reyna, a midfielder, was joined on the first team by defenders Brian Bates and Brandon Pollard and goalie Jeff Causey.

Reyna was named player of the year in the region, and Virginia Commonwealth's Lincoln Phillips was honored as coach of the year.
