OBIT WALKER, VERNON VAN HINDERBURG

WALKER, Vernon Van Hinderburg, 77, of Shawsville, died Monday, December 6, 1993. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cyril Elaine Abernethy, N.C., Mrs. Dorothy Gertrude Lockey, S.C.; also nieces and nephews, including James A. Walker, Harpers Ferry, W. Va. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 1993, at the Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will be in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Salvation Army or World Vision. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston.
