OBIT COMPTON, RUSSELL D.

COMPTON, Russell D., 67, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Roanoke, died Saturday, December 4, 1993. He was an employee at the Division Director of the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation; and a member of the Carpenters Home Church, Lakeland, Fla. He was an Air Force Veteran of WW II. Survivors include wife, Laura Compton, Lakeland, Fla.; one son, Dennis Compton, Lakeland, Fla.; one daughter, Vicki Jarvis, Reddington Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren. Funeral will be private. Graveside service at Oak Hill Burial Park. Friends will be received at the residence.
