OBIT TABOR, WILLIAM E.
TABOR, William E., ("Bill"), 73, of Roanoke County, passed away Tuesday,
December 7, 1993, at his home. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a
member of the Williamson Road Masonic Lodge #163 AF & AM. He spent 40 years in
the automotive business. Mr. Tabor was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church,
where he was active in the Anchor Sunday School class. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Odessa Tabor. Surviving are a son, Forrest L. Tabor,
Roanoke; one granddaughter, Erin Whitney Tabor, Lynchburg; one brother, James
Tabor, Roanoke; four sisters, Rosalie Clark, Roanoke, Dessie Stump,
Stewartsville, Thelma Smith, Vinton, Helen Litchford, Montvale. Funeral
services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Rick
Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South
Chapel.
