OBIT WIMMER, NOVA C.

WIMMER, Nova C., ("Crickett"), 73, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, December 8, 1993. He was retired from the H. C. Lewis Oil Company; and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Wimmer. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Richard Wickham, Roanoke, Carole and Roy Saunders, Va. Beach, Va.; two grandchildren, Tammy Randall, Va. Beach, Christopher Wickham, Roanoke; one great-grandson, Kevin Randall, Va. Beach; four brothers, Joseph Wimmer Jr., Wilbur Wimmer, Colonel Wimmer all of Roanoke, Newton Wimmer, Jacksonville, N.C.; one sister, Athlene Cando, Sneads Ferry, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m. Friday, December 10, 1993, with the Rev. Ken Butterworth officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel after noon Thursday.
