SHE'S REPAYING HER DEBT BY GIVING TO HELP OTHERS

Barbara Walls knows what it's like to be in need. "There were times when I didn't know where my next meal was coming from," she said.

Now that she is able, Walls has given to the Good Neighbors fund and intends to give more. "God loves us," she said, "so we must love others."

But there's another reason why she decided to contribute to the fund this year. By giving in memory of her son, Tracy Allen Walls, who died at the age of 6 in 1977, Walls feels she can give back some of the love and support she received from friends and family after his death.

"Through the help of others, we made it through," she said. "Maybe I can help some- one else make it, too."
