OBIT-KELLY, ALBERT J. CAPTAIN
KELLY, Albert J. Captain, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, December 10,
1993. He went to join God's kingdom with his wife, Margaret Bundersen Kelly
and his daughter, Maureen. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is
survived by his wife, Carol Brown Kelly; his daughters, Janice Bausch and her
husband, Carl, and grandchildren, Heidi and Joshua, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.,
Linda Anderson and her husband, David, and grandchildren, Samuel and Daniel,
Jackson, Ala.; his son, Gary and his wife, Karen, and grandchildren, Ryan and
Sean, Staton Island, N.Y. It was the captain's wish that his human remains as
ashes be put to rest in New York Harbor, where he worked for 41 years, as a
licensed Merchant Marine Master, doing what he liked to do best, playing with
tug boats. Memorial services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Main
Street, Salem, at 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 13, 1993 and later from St.
Stephen's Episcopal Church, Staton Island, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to his favorite charity, any of the cancer societies. Arrangements
