PRICE, Sallie Zieglar, 79, of Salem, passed away in a Salem hospital on Thursday, December 9, 1993. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Byron) Coles, Mrs. Mary P. Pullis, Ms. Norma J. Price, Mrs. Margaret A. Harrison, all of Salem, Mrs. June (Gary) Lewis, Roanoke; five sons, James E. Price Jr., Salem; Pete (Chris) Price, Central Nyack, N.Y., Mack Price, Roanoke, Tommy (Renossa) Price, Salem, SSG. Lawrence (Ruby) Price, New Baltimore, Mich.; five sisters, Mrs. Sarah Hairston, Mrs. Hattie Hairston, both of Martinsville, Mrs. Mattie Zieglar, Ridgeway, Mrs. Mary J. Holt, Baltimore, Md., Mrs. James (Walter) Hairston, Spencer; 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; four daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including a very special devoted friend, Stephanie Cox. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, December 13, 1993, at Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Carl Tinsley officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Calloway. Friends may call on the family Sunday, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel.
