Julie Lynn Slusher and Richard Thomas Illg were married Wednesday, November
24, 1993, in Covenant Reformed Episcopal Church with Rev. Rodney H. Longmire,
Jr., officiating. The maid of honor was Jodi Elizabeth Illg, daughter of
groom. Matrons of honor were Pamella Landau and Gwynn Hamel, sisters of bride.
Flower girl was Brittany Ann Hamel, niece of bride. The best man was Bill T.
McFarland of New Orleans, La. Ushers were David Landau, bride's
brother-in-law. Ring bearer was Blake Hamel, bride's nephew. Piper was John
Brisco. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Terry Slusher of Roanoke,
Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Illg of LaPlace, La. The groom
is employed by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Department of La. The newlyweds will
live in Westwego, La., after a wedding trip to Mountain Lake, Va.
