Amy Federicci, 27, who was shot in the neck and had been on life support since the Tuesday rampage, died at at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, said Phyllis Abrams, a hospital spokeswoman.
Federicci, who lived in Mineola, was one of 23 people shot by a man who opened fire on the rush-hour commuter train, said Abrams.
Five others also died.
Police charged Colin Ferguson with walking up and down the aisles of the train, firing his semiautomatic 9mm gun as the train pulled into a station in Garden City. - Associated Press
