OBIT-CREASEY, ELMER SADIE
CREASEY, Elmer Sadie, 84, of Pembroke, died Sunday evening, December 12,
1993, in a Roanoke hospital. She was a member of the Pembroke Christian Church
and the Ladies Auxiliary IOOF No. 13 Cascades-Angels Rest Rebeka Lodge No. 72.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter Kerr and a son, James
Elwood Kerr. Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Walter and June
Kerr of Narrows, Va., Bill and Vernie Kerr of Lindside, W. Va., Frank and
Della Kerr of Newbern, N.C., Wayne and Beverly Kerr of Eggleston, Va., Gary
and Shelby Kerr of Eggleston, Va.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret
and Sonny Elio of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Mabel and Wade Mahaffey of
Forestville, Md., Rita and Kenneth Lindsay of Dublin, Va.; 25 grandchildren
and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday,
December 15, 1993 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at Pembroke,
with the Rev. Barry Franklin officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Lebanon
Church Cemetery at Hoges Chapel near Pembroke. The family will receive friends
at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
