OBIT-HENION, MATHILDA ELIZABETH

HENION, Mathilda Elizabeth, 83, of Christiansburg, died Monday, December 13, 1993 in a Radford hospital. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Hugo and Sandra Veit of Riner; four grandchildren, Suzanne Johnson, Charlotte, N.C., Steven Veit, Columbus, S.C., Douglas Veit, Blacksburg, and Daniel Veit, Riner; a special niece, Uta Hoch and husband, Anton, of Germany. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson-Horne Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Walt Simmerman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 until 7 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
