OBIT-EANES, RUBY C.

EANES, Ruby C., 99, of Roanoke, died at her home Tuesday, December 14, 1993. She was the widow of Harry W. Eanes and a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Helen C. Wyrick; three granddaughters, Catherine Smith, Roanoke, Betty Boothe, Troutville, Diane Fizer, Roanoke; nine great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 1993, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
