OBIT BROWN, FRANK SHANNON

BROWN, Frank Shannon, 65, of 312 Walnut Street, Rich Creek, Va. died Wednesday, December 15, 1993, at his residence. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born on March 30, 1928, and was the son of the late Charles Frank and Gladys Irene Chandler Brown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Brown and his wife, Lucy C. Brown. He was a member of John Dove Lodge #78 of Peterstown, W.Va. He is survived by a brother, Robert L. Brown, Rich Creek, Va.; four stepsons, Brian Evans, Rich Creek, Billy Evans, Peterstown, W.Va., Bobby R. Evans, Blacksburg, Va., Danny L. Evans, Greenville, W.Va. and a special friend, Carolyn Woody, Rich Creek, Va. Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows, with Rev. Jeff Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Rich Creek, Va. with graveside rites conducted by John Dove Lodge #78 of Peterstown, W.Va. The family will meet their friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
