Reyna, a junior midfielder, had 10 goals and eight assists this season for the three-time NCAA champions.
Other Virginia players received honors, as well: Sophomore defender Brandon Pollard was a second-team selection by the coaches, and senior goalkeeper Jeff Causey was chosen to the third team.
In other soccer news, Bill Wilkins, an assistant coach at Virginia since 1988, Thursday was named the head women's soccer coach at Auburn.
Wilkins replaces Steve Holeman, who took the job on an interim basis after Auburn agreed to start a women's team to settle a gender-equity lawsuit. The Lady Tigers went 7-6-3 in their inaugural season.
"We're really excited to have a coach of Bill's experience," athletic director Mike Lude said in a statement. "He brings a wealth of experience from an outstanding Division I women's soccer program."
Wilkins came to Virginia following a three-year stint as the head women's coach at Columbia. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.
