WEVER-WARD
Lisa C. Ward and David E. Wever were married December 18, 1993, in
Blacksburg Baptist Church with Dr.Joseph Borden officiating. The reception was
held at the Blacksburg Marriott. The matron of honor was Lynne Sexton, friend
of the bride. The bridesmaids were Blair Huffman, cousin of the bride; Ingrid
Wever, the groom's sister; and Ann Luther, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was
Jessi Young, cousin of the bride. The groom's father, Albrecht Wever, served
as best man. The ushers were Michael Wever, brother of the groom; Stan Ward,
brother of the bride; and Donald Deliz, friend of the groom. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Ward, Jr. of Chesapeake; and the
granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Crouch, Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis E. Ward, Sr., all of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech, and is
employed by Montgomery County Schools. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Albrecht Wever of Bergen, New York. He is attending Virginia Tech and will
graduate as a Mechanical Engineer in May, 1994. The newlyweds will live in
Blacksburg.
