The bride was escorted to the altarby her father. Rebecca Gosselink of Greensboro, N.C., was the maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Susan Rodgers, sister of the bride of Gordonsville, Va.; Amy Fisher of Salem, Va., and Lori Heckel of Winston-Salem, N.C.
Joe Dean of High Point, N.C., served as best man. Groomsmen were Steve McCachern of Lexington, N.C., ZanMorgan of Greensboro, N.C., Mark Senell of Richmond, Va., and Melvin Twisdale of Thomasville, N.C.
Wedding music was provided by Roseanne Burgess, organist, and Gale Ware, soloist. Scriptures were read by Kim and Jeff Paniati, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Wendy Blake and programs were given by Michael Blake, cousins of the bride.
The bride's gown was ivory silk taffeta embellished with imported reembroidered Alencon lace and highlighted with seed pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of French tulips and Porcelana roses.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. William R. Rodgers and the granddaughter of Doris P. Rodgers, all of Roanoke, and the late William R. Rodgers, Sr., and Charlotte A. Hutcheson of Sun City Center, Fla. and the late Clyde C. Hutcheson. Amy is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Guilford College. She is an Art Assistant with Elegant Bride Magazine in Greensboro, N.C.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert VanDorp of Jamestown, N.C. He is a graduate of Ragsdale High School and North Carolina State University. Buddy is a Plant Engineer with Lexington Furniture Co. in Lexington, N.C.
Following a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple is residing at High Rock Lake in Lexington, N.C.
