OBIT-OAKES, ANNIE EARLENE JORDAN

OAKES, Annie Earlene Jordan, 76, of Boones Mill, died Friday, December 17, 1993. She went home to be with the Lord after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Clyde E. Oakes; son, Donald S. Oakes, Boones Mill; two daughters, Littie M. Hamrick, Thurmont, Md., and Patricia O. Tate, Boones Mill; one brother, Rafford P. Jordan, Boones Mill; sisters, Teacy C. Willoughby, Roanoke, Audrey Ransome, Bedford; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Harry Hudson, with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
