OBIT-CLEMONS, ELVEN

CLEMONS, Elven, 67, of Floyd, passed away Saturday, December 18, 1993 in a Radford hospital. He was a Deacon of the Willis Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Robetene Akers Clemons, Floyd, Va.; two sons, Elven Ray Clemons, Jacksonville, Fla., Roger Dale Clemons, Christiansburg; two daughters, Robin Clemons Adams, Roanoke, Ruby Clemons Akers, Blacksburg; one sister, Jean H. Tuttle, Floyd; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 20, 1993 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Sowers Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
