OBIT DAWSON, CELESTE WOODAHL

DAWSON, Celeste Woodahl, of Rt. 4, Rocky Mount, died Saturday, December 18, 1993, at her home. She was a retired dental assistant at the V.A. Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Dawson was a member of the Highland United Methodist Church in Callaway. Surviving are her husband, Frank E. Dawson of Rocky Mount; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and William Dail of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, William Dail Jr. of Lynchburg, Susan Dail Fisch of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert Alan Dail of Lynchburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Correlle W. Venable, Inez W. and Leo Painter, Evelyn W. and Berkeley H. Riley, all of Roanoke; brothers and sister-in-law, Bernard W. Woodahl of Richmond, Lester G. and Sue Woodahl of Shawsville. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in Evergreen Burial Park at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Gary Milstead and the Rev. Dave Snead officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
