MOTORCYCLE DRIVER DIES OF INJURIES

A Glasgow man who was in a motorcycle accident on Virginia 684 in Rockbridge County on Sunday night died Monday.

John D. Loughhead, of Virginia 710 died at 1 a.m. at Roanoke Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered when his motorcycle ran off Virginia 684, state police said. Loughhead, 29, lost control at approximately 2:45 p.m. Sunday in a curve. He swerved off the right side of the road into a ditch, police said.
