OBIT REEVES, W. HAMMOND SR.

REEVES, W. Hammond Sr., 85, of Roanoke, and formerly of Hyattsville, Md., died Monday, December 20, 1993, in a Salem hospital. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and a former employee of Metropolitan Transit Company in Washington, D.C. Surviving are his wife, Virginia G. Reeves; daughter, Ann R. Springmann, Fort Washington, Md.; son, William H. Reeves Jr., Silver Spring, Md.; three grandsons; one great-grandson; two stepdaughters; one stepson. Funeral services will be from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 1993, with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer and the Rev. Randy Rule officiating. Interment will be in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Md., 1 p.m. Thursday. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
