OBIT GRAY, LESSIE MAE HALL

GRAY, Lessie Mae Hall, 84, of Rt. 1, Goodview, passed away Monday, December 20, 1993. She was the widow of Alexander ("Zan") Gray and was predeceased by a son, Robert ("Bobby") Gray. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Earl Thomas ("Tommy") and Betty Gray, Chamblissburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances G. and Gordon Parris, Saluda, S.C., Sadie G. and Frank Hubbard, Sr., Vinton; one brother, Andrew Hall, Vinton; two sisters, Clara Tasker, Roanoke, Mary Dolan, Portsmouth; half brother, Harold Hall of Salem; half sister, Lucille Overstreet, Rt. 1, Goodview; also 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Ralph E. Lawhorn will officiate with burial to follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
