OBIT LOUGHHEAD, JOHN DAVID

LOUGHHEAD, John David, 29, of Glasgow, Va. died Monday, December 20, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke. Mr. Loughhead was born on June 17, 1964, a son of David Clifford Loughhead and Judith Gwinn Loughhead of Glasgow. He was a member of the Glasgow Presbyterian Church and a member of the Glasgow Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Robert Palmer Loughhead, Ft. Drum, N.Y., Jason Gwinn Loughhead, Glasgow, paternal grandmother, Mary G. Loughhead, Buena Vista, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gwinn, Alderson, W.Va. and a special friend, Shena Slagle, Glasgow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 1993, 11 a.m. at the Glasgow Presbyterian Church with Rev. William K. Leach officiating with burial to follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Glasgow Fire Department or the Glasgow Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
