OBIT-KUYKENDALL, JAMES ROBERT ("BOB")

KUYKENDALL, James Robert ("Bob"), 80, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 21, 1993. He was retired from the V.A. Hospital, and was a veteran serving in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mary Custer Kuykendall; a son, Dwight Kuykendall, Roanoke; brothers, Charlie Kuykendall, Morfield, W.Va., Harry Kuykendall, Romney, W.Va.; sisters, Blanche Koontz, Romney W.Va., Mary Sions, Harrisonburg, Va. Graveside funeral services will be held noon Thursday, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Graham Sowers and Leslie Viar. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
