HATFIELD-LOPEZ-ABADIA
Margarita Lopez-Abadia and Gary Michael Hatfield were married December 23,
1993 by Rev. April Hall, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Waterloo,
South Carolina. The reception was held at the home of Marsha & Buck Elwell,
the groom's sister and brother-in-law. The matron of honor was Mari
Lopez-Abadia, sister of the bride. The flowergirl was Margarita Rojas, the
bride's daughter. The best man was Rick Thomas. The ringbearer was Patrick
Elwell. The bride wore a long classic gown made from imported French silk
designed especially for the bride by the Venezuelan designer "Jordi". She
carried a single exotic lily. The bride is a daughter of the late Joaquin
Lopez-Abadia and Judith Bravo deLopez-Abadia of Venezuela, S.A. The bridegroom
is a son of Arnold and Charlene Hatfield of Roanoke. The newlyweds will live
in Caracas, Venezuela after the wedding trip to Miami, Florida.
