PINKARD-LAM

Timothy Wayne Pinkard and Dreama Kay Lam were united in marriage on November 27, 1993 in Oakland Baptist Church. Rev. Kelly Dampier officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David O. Lam, Sr. of Blue Ridge, Virginia and Betty W. Lam of Staunton, Virginia. The groom is the son of John P. Pinkard of Roanoke, Virginia and Demarris S. Pinkard of Roanoke, Virginia. The bride's best friend, Pamela K. Echard of Roanoke, served as her matron of honor. The father of the groom, John P. Pinkard of Roanoke, served as his son's best man. Bridesmaids were Patricia A. Wilson, friend of the bride, of Goodview; and Susan C. Pinkard, sister-in-law of the groom, of Blue Ridge. Groomsmen were Mark E. Pinkard of Blue Ridge, brother of the groom; Gregory A. Pinkard of Roanoke, brother of the groom; Michael R. Mowbray of Roanoke, friend of the groom; and Michael Lumsden of Roanoke, friend of the groom. Ringbearers were Katie A. Leslie, loving daughter of the bride; and Jordan K. Pinkard, nephew of the groom. The bride was given inmarriage by her brother, David O. Lam, Jr.

The bride is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School. She is employed by Easter P. Moses and Charles R. Allen, Jr., Attorneys at Law. The groom is a graduate of William Fleming High School and Longwood College. He is employed by the N & W Federal Credit Union.

The newlyweds will make their home in Roanoke, Virginia.
