OBIT OGLETREE, VICKIE LEE BROWN
OGLETREE, Vickie Lee Brown, 38, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, December
25, 1993, at the Veterans Hospital in Salem. She was a veteran of the U.S.
Navy, and was a member of the West Radford Church of God. Survivors include
one son, Tommy Lee Ogletree of Dublin; mother and stepfather, Peggy R. and
William R. Ray of Dublin; father, Marvin K. Brown of North Carolina; adopted
son, Jason Edward Ogletree of Charleston, S.C.; adopted daughter, Angela Jo
Ogletree of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Rebecca Brown of Dublin; two brothers,
William R. Ray Jr. of Roanoke, Michael R. Ray of Dublin; paternal grandfather,
Arthur Brown of Radford; paternal grandmother, Oneva Brown of Altamonte
Springs, Fla.; paternal great-grandmother, Ida Hall of Salem; several aunts
and uncles. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 1993, 11
a.m. at the West Radford Church of God, with the Rev. K. B. Arnold
officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in
Dublin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to
the Virginia Head Injuries Foundation, in memory of their daughter. The family
will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Seaver-Sanders &
Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
