OBIT SURBER, ELLA LOUISE

SURBER, Ella Louise, 73, of Saltville, died Monday, December 27, 1993 in the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Va. Mrs. Surber was a member of the First Church of God in Saltville, Va. Survivors include her husband, Carl Surber, Saltville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Gillen, Mrs. P. H. (Fonnie) Griffitts, all of Saltville; one brother, Robert Elmore, Chilhowie; two sisters, Margaret Roberts, Marion, Bertha Musselwhite, Newport News; one granddaughter, Debbie Griffitts Cook, Bristol, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 1993 in the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Mumpower and Dr. Woodrow McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Henderson's Funeral Home in Saltville, Va.
