PRISON VOLUNTEERS HONORED

Volunteers at the Pulaski Correctional Unit were recently honored with an appreciation banquet.

Certificates of appreciation were given to 39 of 61 regular service volunteers in attendance.

Charlie H., a weekly volunteer for Alcoholics Anonymous for 10 years, was presented an engraved plaque after being chosen as the correctional facility's Volunteer of the Year.

Volunteers have provided almost 9,000 hours of service to Camp One during this fiscal year.

Services include religious study, recreation, counseling, math tutoring, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Life Skills.
