OBIT FRANK, EDWARD HARRY
FRANK, Edward Harry, 91, of Salem, died Saturday, December 25, 1993. He was
a retired clerk for the Railway Mail Service. He was a veteran of World War I,
serving in the army, and the Navy after the war. He was a member of the
Masonic Taylor Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Reaves
Frank, and a son, Jerry Stephen Frank. He is survived by one daughter, Evelyn
Hope Frank, Roanoke; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert G. and Vivian B. Frank,
Roanoke; a daughter-in-law, Clare Frank Browning, Witchita Falls, Texas; one
sister, Grace F. Kasady, Seattle, Wash.; six grandsons; five
great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday,
December 30, 1993, at the Sherwood Memorial Park by the Rev. Robert Ward, and
a Masonic service by the Taylor lodge. The family will receive friends at the
John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 29, 1993, from 5 to 8
p.m.
