OBIT DEHART, RAY V.
DeHART, Ray V., 79,of Radford, died Monday, February 28, 1994 in a Salem
hospital. He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry Co. with 37 1/2
years service. He served in the C.C. Camp in Pembroke, Va. Surviving are one
daughter, Lillie Virginia DeHart, Radford; three sisters, Madie DeHart
Hawkins, Austinsville, Nellie DeHart Atkins, Tazewell, Almedia DeHart Teague
of Illinois. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Joe Burton and the Rev. Kent Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hickman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Ray DeHart Lake Cottage
Fund. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
Devilbiss Funeral Home.
