MAN CONVICTED IN CON OF HIS NINTH WIFE

A man that police call a career con artist pleaded guilty to scamming his ninth wife and her brother-in-law out of more than $140,000.

Harold Kaplan, 55, who used the alias Hal Lansky, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree larceny and one count each of second-degree larceny and second-degree forgery.
