The candlelight march is to protest violence towards women and the attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that perpetuate it.
Particpants will gather on the Drillfield in front of Burruss Hall for the rally, which begins at 7:30 p.m. The march follows at 8 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, participants should gather at War Memorial Chapel.
Marchers are asked to bring candles or flashlights, and women, men and children are encouraged to march either as individuals or as part of a group.
The march is sponsored by the Women's Undergraduate Network, the Women's Week Coordinating Committee and other organizations.
